About BORDERS:

We erect borders to secure systems and prosperity, to guarantee protection for "our own" against "the outside". These borders define belonging and exclusion, they create identity. We decide to whom and to what we open them, to whom access is granted, and to whom that access is denied. This decision is moral. It determines who we are.
